Ikea Recruitment – Accounting & Reporting Team Leader

Job Description:

• Broad knowledge of the IKEA concept, its Brand identity, Culture & Values and strategic directions
• Broad knowledge of Ingka’s financial and operational processes, their interdependencies and how to manage them, and tools for Accounting and reporting e.g. SAP Fiori and Blackline
• Excellent knowledge of Ingka’s accounting and financial reporting rules, standards and manuals, along with
• International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Excellent knowledge of measuring, processing and communicating financial information in compliance with internal and external regulations and ensuring value for money in reaching business objectives and profitable growth
• Comprehensive knowledge of the IKEA business market, industry and customer needs; knowledge of Ingka group’s core business operations and key interactions between businesses/functions

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of the team based on the global finance, organizational and people development direction to secure the right competences, performance and succession and manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities
• Contribute the business plan process and set clear goals and action plan together with the team in alignment with the business plan and function goals
• Secure that Global Business Operations (GBO) and various teams are working in compliance with Ingka Group frameworks and local General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Contribute to local and global projects from accounting and reporting perspective
• Ensure a safe for co-workers and external consultants and contractors in accordance with Ingka policies
• Support relevant functions as a trustful and professional business partner in accounting and reporting matters with the aim to offer the customer a seamless shopping experience
• Secure cross-organizational readiness and continued business growth in terms of competence, performance and succession through enabling an end-to-end approach
• Coordinate and/or support internal and external audit, review and follow up on audit findings and recommendations
• Advise the team and GBO on specific accounting and reporting questions with extra focus to local GAAP
• Secure and maintain a connection with and between core areas, business owners, group functions, process teams within the Ingka Group
