Job Responsibilities:

Jack in the Box Inc. is seeking a District Manager in the Los Angeles market to drive restaurant sales and profits by providing clear direction and leadership to restaurant management. You will conduct restaurant audits and regularly monitor performance as well as educate and consult with managers to ensure their understanding of restaurant operational and financial performance. You will be responsible for executing the brand strategy and promoting the Company’s vision, mission, and values. You will also utilize effective recruiting sources and methods to attract and select talented employees.

Job Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of accounting/financial concepts and financial statements
• Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior
• Proficient knowledge of personal computers and related software applications (Microsoft Office)
• Self-motivator and can motivate others; ability to establish clear direction and empower others
• Highly organized with strong time management skills; ability to delegate
• Maintains professionalism and optimistic attitude in all situations
• Effective oral and written English communication skills
• Is a good judge of talent and can build, grow and develop effective teams
• Is a self-starter who takes initiative and willingly accepts responsibility
• Active listening skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative management skills

Qualification & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred, in Business or related field.
• 5 years multi-unit leadership experience in restaurant, retail or related industry. In lieu of a related degree, requires 4 years related multi-unit experience or previous ownership of small business.
