Job Description:
The Crew Scheduler schedules Flight and Inflight Crewmembers in accordance with the Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and Company policies and procedures. The highest level of customer service is essential while coordinating with other departments and communicating with Crewmembers. Flexibility in the work schedule is necessary as the position requires working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor Flight or Inflight Crewmember’s schedules for irregularities
- Schedule and notify Flight and Inflight Crewmembers in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and Company policies and procedures using available data and reports
- Complete other duties as assigned by Crew Services and/or System Operations Leadership
- Process Crewmember schedule adjustments using automated computer programs
- Assist with research, data analysis, development and execution of departmental programs
- Arrange for Crewmember hotel and/or transportation if necessary
Job Requirements:
- Successful completion of pre-employment math assessment
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
- Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Math, Computer science, Aviation, Statistics, Operations or equivalent major
- Operations experience in a Part 121 Airline environment
- Crew Scheduling experience
- One (1) year customer service or office experience
