The Head of Marketing Effectiveness supports the delivery of the overall marketing attribution strategy and the ongoing optimisation of marketing performance and budget oversight. The role will play a significant part in developing and iterating the attribution methodology, budget planning and forecasting and agency management processes. The role will provide oversight for marketing effectiveness globally and support regional and local market teams to optimise their marketing spend.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and embeds cross-WPB programs, capabilities and campaigns by partnering with regions / markets; ensure cohesion of programs across marketing attribution, agency and creative management
  • Deliver the overall marketing attribution strategy and the ongoing optimisation of marketing performance, budget oversight and marketing mix
  • Lead from the front as an advocate for Agile Principles, and drive an Agile way of working in your team and beyond to leverage cross functional expertise
  • Set best practices for marketing attribution and measuring ROI across E2E customer journeys
  • Lead ongoing monitoring of effectiveness, providing recommendations to support optimisation of return on marketing investment and performance
  • Be responsible for global coordination across Group and WPB, including Group, region, countries, proposition, product, channel, and other relevant functions
  • Manage and optimise Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) media and creative agency content / creative relationships and spending
  • Work with colleagues from Group, region and local markets to manage overall marketing planning process, driving improvements across all channels based on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and performance

Job Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to use to data to provide actionable insights to drive performance
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to work across diverse geographies and positioning complex issues to non-technical audiences
  • Experience of leading budget management and planning processes
  • Strong understanding of best practice in marketing attribution
  • Strong experience of designing, building and optimizing complex data and econometric models
