  • Reporting to the DPS U.S. Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for contributing cross-functionally across Trauma, CMF, and Spine to support Short Term Exception Management, Set / Item allocation, supply reliability efforts, and key projects.
  • Other responsibilities include collaborating with our S&OP partners to drive US service management initiatives, contributing to and or facilitating weekly Commercial STEM forums, and proactively identifying and communicating US priorities to the Global Supply Chain.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assists to support deployment orders and exceptions for field inventory assets and set sales opportunities.
  • Participates in key projects in support of streamlining and combining Trauma, CMF and Spine processes and development of applicable job aids where necessary.
  • Supports the monthly S&OP processes with order status updates, reliability initiatives, and issue mitigation.
  • Drives process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities, recommending action plans and implementing initiatives.
  • Handles inventory transfers and monitors status to ensure expediting, timely receipt, and completion of priority deployment orders as well as prioritization with the distribution channels and Global SNP for issue resolution.
  • Collects, analyzes and reports supply chain data, as needed, to improve customer service and maximize financial performance.
  • Proposes changes to Supply Chain optimization elements (business rules, planning parameters) as necessary to E2E and Site-level planners.
  • Partners with Commercial and other business partners on allocation plans to support major business supply constraints.
  • Builds and maintains strong working relationships with upstream and downstream supply chain partners.
  • Communicates with Commercial partners as applicable and supports the Short-Term Exception Management (STEM) process and forums.
  • Help build analytical capability via tools such as Alteryx, Tableau and Power BI in support of business requirements.
  • Aids in the closed loop supply feedback process to enable supply communication, issue mitigation, and prioritization.

Qualification & Experience:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required with a focus in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or related field is required.
  • APICS, Six Sigma, IBF, Project Management certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 4-6 years of professional work experience in Supply Chain or Commercial Operations is required.
  • Excellent understanding of ERP systems (JDE, SAP) is required.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (vlookup, SUMIF, pivot tables, modeling, VBA) and Power point are required.
  • Experience with Alteryx, Power BI, and Tableau is optimal.
  • Experience in data mining, analysis and reporting is required.
  • Analytical mind with business acumen is required.
  • Strong understanding of End to End Supply Chain principles is required.
  • Experience with advanced planning tools (OMP, Kinaxis, APO) is a preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a structured and determined way.
  • Ability to negotiate and influence without direct line authority in a matrix environment.
  • Ability to translate complex situations into simple working solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and work in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly, and tight deadlines exist.
  • Ability to influence colleagues within the organization by using effective communication and presentation skills.
