From organising New Restaurant Openings to identifying different marketing tactics to local challenges, you will be in-charge of seamless local marketing campaigns that represent the brand in local culture ensuring KFC always remain relevant to their local community.
This role will report into the Marketing Operations Lead.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Local Restaurant Marketing Manager, you will be in charge of delivering flawless execution of our local campaigns for UK & Ireland restaurants.

  • Launch a local marketing programme aligned to KFC’s penetration strategy that delivers against driving local awareness and excitement, building loyalty and driving brand love and fame. The program will be a cross-channel approach across POS, media, PR, social, eCRM and retail, and delivery of multi channel proposals to solve key local challenges at restaurant level.
  • Drive awareness and trial local marketing campaigns for new restaurants offering KFC Delivery, including reviewing and reporting against KPIs.
  • Work with world class and award-winning creative agency partners. From Social Media to POS, ownership and accountability of the full local marketing mix from briefing to execution will be part of this role.
  • Champion a test & learn mindset with the ability to adopt best practices, implement new ways of working and ideas that will transform our local marketing strategy.
  • Own and develop the local marketing portal, an online system that enables franchisees to brief local marketing request and allows for self-service to ensure we stay agile.
  • Own and develop the local marketing toolkit, creating campaign bundles available for different budgets, and developing a suite of creative available for multi-use which is on-brand and aligned to local marketing visual identity.
  • Build strong relationships with cross functional internal departments, restaurant teams and franchisees to champion local marketing and constantly push for ‘right first time’ in this space.

Job Requirements:

  • You’ll already be working within a retail marketing team and have a minimum of 3 years experience specifically in the field of local marketing.
  • You will have experience managing traditional and digital media, working with creative agency patrners to develop the right campaign with all channels considered.
  • You will have experience working with store teams to implement the vision to reality, with a combination of creative and commercial acumen.
  • You will have strong partnership skills – an important skill in this role as you partner with our franchisees to grow their businesses.
  • You’ll be extremely organised and tenacious to ensure the flawless management and delivery of key assigned local marketing projects within a faced paced and reactive environment with the ability to collaborate with others.
  • You are able to engage at a strategic level, understanding the brand strategy and how the restaurant space can be used to activate localised campaigns through a combination of brand and retail thinking.
