Job Description:

As Lead Nodejs / AWS Lambda Developer in the KFC Digital Tech Team, you’ll be leading the development of the digital products for web and app as well as the integrations to the many external services. You will be proficient using third party open-source packages and relevant code libraries. As a leader, you will be expected to mentor and support the development of others within the team and to communicate with Engineers, Scrum Masters, QA’s, DevOps Engineers and UI/UX Designers, contributing to ideas, and innovating where required.

Job Requirements:

  • Technical skills including Node.JS and Terraform
  • Experience leading teams and architecting backend systems, or strong experience to be able to step into this role
  • Strong AWS knowledge from an architectural standpoint
  • Strong AWS Serverless knowledge across Step Functions, Lambda, SQS, SNS and DynamoDB
  • Automated deployment using Bitbucket Pipelines
  • Relational database knowledge including PostgreSQL
  • Experience working within an Agile framework
