Kindercare Hiring – IT Asset & Procurement Coordinator

Job Description:

As our Asset and Procurement Coordinator, you will manage our asset management database, ensure our procedures for managing assets are being followed correctly, be able to be aware of asset request trends while forecasting future business needs, and ensure our inventory levels meet the needs of the business. You will also be involved in projects to improve processes, partner with vendors and mature our asset management practice.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain vendor and supplier relationships, ensure we are receiving appropriate prices and proactively alert leadership when supply issues arise
  • Complete purchase orders in a timely manner, meeting the deadlines set by team leadership
  • Partner with other business units to understand and improve procurement processes across the company
  • Ensure all relevant software licenses are available for new hires while meeting service level agreement timelines
  • Prioritize and manage several open requests or projects at one time
  • Manage, maintain and update asset management inventory for IT systems using SCCM, ServiceNow, and others
  • Promote KCE culture and ITSM Service Values at all times, and promote culture that encourages satisfaction and engagement in all your interactions with KCE employees, and vendors.
  • Day to day inventory management responsibilities, stock orders and tracking shipments
  • Asset management process and policy governance, training teams on processes that impact their day-to-day
  • Ensure compliance with asset management process, supporting an accurate asset management database that is well maintained
  • Maintain inventory of IT hardware ensuring support teams field service partners can meet service targets

Job Requirements:

  • Experience working closely with vendors and suppliers
  • Demonstrated growth mindset, showing a consistent track record of taking on new challenges and driving their success
  • Experience working within IT Service Desk tools, such as ServiceNow
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment to meet time constraints
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills via phone, email and chat
  • High School graduate or equivalent, 2- or 4-year college degree a plus
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Collaboration and building relationship skills
  • Experience purchasing and managing IT inventory
