Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze & translate functional specifications & change requests into technical specifications.
• Develop, test & implement program logic.
• Work closely with business SMEs and stakeholders for creating business requirement and functional specification documentation, defining the data mapping from the source systems and perform functional analysis.
• Collaborate with the EA Program Manager on improvements to methodology, templates, etc.
• Coordinate within the development team to implement all ETL procedures for all new projects and maintain effective awareness of all production activities according to required standards and provide support to all existing applications.
• Perform root cause analysis on all processes and resolve all production issues and validate all data and perform routine tests on databases and provide support to all ETL applications.
• Distil business requirements and translate into technical solutions for data systems including data warehouses, cubes, marts, lakes, ETL integrations, BI tools or other components.
• Optimize data integration platform to provide optimal performance under increasing data volumes
• Support the data architecture and data governance function to continually expand their capabilities
• Ensure accuracy & integrity of data & applications through analysis, coding, writing clear documentation & problem resolution.
• Evaluating, developing, maintaining, and testing data engineering solutions for analytics projects
• Implement processes and logic to extract, transform, and distribute data across one or more data stores from a wide variety of sources
• Lead and perform including development of data tests on all ETL codes for system data and analyze all data and design all data mapping techniques for all data models in systems.
• Responsible for designing and creating the data warehouse / Data Lake Process using Synapsys, Spark as Data Ingestion Tool.
• Creation and support of data pipelines built on AZURE technologies. Experience in using AZURE for creating data pipelines – ingestion, processing and orchestration

Job Requirements:

• Good Experience design ETL framework using DI tools (Azure Data Factory, Synapsis etc.)
• Hands on Experience on designing data ingestion process for Dimension or Fact tables.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication, inter-personal and team management skills
• Proficient in any object-oriented/ functional scripting languages Java, Python, Node etc.
• Experience with Data testing, including ability to create test plans, test cases, execute test cycles, etc.
• Experience in ETL and data modelling on AZURE ecosystem components
• Exceptional documentation skills, including concise requirements and easy-to-follow process flow diagrams
• Ability to forge consensus within a group of stakeholders, to deliver a solution that works for all
• Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Office 365, Microsoft Teams, etc.
• Good understanding of AZURE components, storage & compute services
• Prior working experience of at-least 5 to 7 years is must in Analytics domain.
• Knowledge of Microsoft DI tools such as Microsoft is SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), databases, (Azure Data brick, Data Factory, cluster, Synapse etc..) are a must.
• Knowledge of agile methodology and the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Experience in migrating data from on-premise sources (e.g. Oracle, API-based, data extracts) into AZURE storage
