Job Description:

The Premium Experience Host will have the awesome responsibility of delivering a unique concert experience to our guests. We want The Van Buren to be a place where guests know they are valued and appreciated. Therefore, our goal is to make sure our guests feel a part of our unique culture from the moment they walk in the venue.

Job Responsibilities:

Serve food and beverages in a knowledgeable, friendly and helpful manner to all guests.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: greeting guests, informing guests of daily specials, giving guests recommendations, respond to guests’ complaints/concerns regarding food or service, delivering food/drink to/from table, memorizing menus and daily specials, and maintain safety and sanitation standards. In addition, servers must be able to serve

Job Requirements:

• 2-5 years quick service experience in restaurant operations
• Wine & Liquor knowledge
• Working environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressful
• Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet
• Working knowledge of high volume restaurant operations and safe, responsible alcohol service
• Skill in guest relations and able to resolve any guest issues
• Ability to handle multiple tables at one time efficiently and with an upbeat, friendly attitude; read guests in order to anticipate their needs
• RAMP or Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent
• Must be able to work evening events and are required to have open/flexible availability for
• Thursday/Friday/Saturday events and potentially some holidays throughout the year
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Standard food preparation/presentation
• Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques
