Job Description:

NYX Professional Makeup is looking to hire an Influencer + Social Media Assistant Manager. This individual will be part of our larger consumer engagement team, supporting the Influencer Manager and team. This role will be involved in implementing strategies for influencer marketing and social media, engaging consumers while enhancing and establishing relationships with influencers across categories. Key areas of focus will be supporting execution of influencer programs, content creation + ideation, community management, building and maintaining relationships with new influencers.
We’re looking for someone who is social-media obsessed and will support the team with influencer campaigns on existing and new social platforms. The ideal candidate understands the influencer landscape and keeps up with influencers in their daily life – we’re looking for someone energetic, positive, and who truly loves influencer, social, and beauty at its core.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Research and consolidate digital trends and make recommendations for greater engagement.
  • Manage talent onboarding + payment processes
  • Responsible for assisting the influencer manager in talent outreach, managing always-on seeding/PR lists, identifying partnership opportunities, creating relationships with new talent and supporting overall social media strategy.
  • Source talent, negotiate contracts, brief content, and work in partnerships with cross-functional marketing teams to support 360 campaigns.
  • Manage PR/seeding creating, manage influencer PR/seeding including curating custom influencer lists
  • Support virtual and in-person experiences/events
  • Support creating influencer briefs, and responsible for maintaining the influencer database.
  • Support and execute influencer and social media initiatives for major brand launches + rollouts, and influencer appearances at virtual or in-person events

Job Requirements:

  • Listens and communicates effectively, actively networks with talent, agents + like-minded partners
  • Strong understanding of influencer and social analytics tools – work with manager to monitor, pull and understand post-campaign results and apply to future campaign strategy.
