Job Description:
Provides financial and operational support to all areas of Hotel Operations. Responsible for tracking all CPAR spend, budgets and forecast development, analysis of various potential and implemented initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development, review and upload of all budgets and forecasts for each area of responsibility.
- Develop reporting tools as needed by the Operations department to successfully run the business and make good decisions.
- Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts.
- Collect and organize financial information to perform analysis as requested by business owner.
- Work with internal and external teams to continuously evolve our reporting and statistical methodologies and develop new ways of solving complex business problems.
- Prepare financial analysis models for all potential initiatives and measure results while in test periods and also after a permanent fleet-wide implementation. Provide recommendations as a result of the analysis performed.
- Create ad hoc reports and analysis for use by managers to evaluate their businesses.
- Maintain capital budgeting and tracking processes across Hotel Operations.
Job Requirements:
- Advanced computer skills with programs such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Ability to multi-task and make decisions to ensure timelines, accuracy and integrity. Ability to effectively communicate information in written and verbal format, build and maintain excellent business relationships. Good team player.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or any equivalent combination of relevant experience, education, training, and skills.
- 2-3 years’ experience in financial analysis, budgeting and/or performance management within the hospitality industry.
