Job Description: The General Operator is expected to be an all-around team player who willingly performs any and all functions assigned on any given day. The General Operator will be responsible for any and all production-related activities on the line, including but not limited to: organization and operation of prep areas and equipment, sauce and grain production, product transfer to/from freezers, hand casing, hand weighing product, and supplying the production line. Job Responsibilities: Ensure packaging matches formula labeling. Responsible for change-overs, accumulation, and casing-out frozen product. Set coding up with accurate information. Uncrate and place stacks of cups for use on the line, ensure product is placed in the cup in proper quantities and appearance, and proper placement of lid on tray. Transferring of trays across line to different weigh tables, and from end of line to beginning. Enter and verify accurate information on all paperwork. Make sure line, kettle and fillers have been sanitized and release prior to start up. Effectively operate and monitor equipment in assigned areas. Supply hand weighers with product from racks/tubs. Responsible for chemically cleaning and participating in wash down of assigned area, including minor equipment adjustments and minor lubrication. Efficiently operate the casing and hand palletizing area. Inspect quality and consistency of product. Perform all required safety checks and quality checks using MES. Job Requirements: Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week on an assigned shift with some daily overtime and weekend overtime.
