Job Description:
Under the supervision of the General Manager, directs Associate activity to provide efficient high quality customer service and achieve retail sales targets through a well-trained and motivated staff. Adheres to all Party City policies and procedures
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for opening and closing store procedures
- Assists in merchandising procedures
- Reviews and understands financial data to support driving profitable sales
- Reviews and responsible for all corporate communications applicable to their assigned zone
- Assists in receiving and stocking procedures;
- Supports new hire training and ongoing development of current associates
- Responsible for maintaining assigned zone
- Assists with execution of company data integrity process
- Interacts with and assists customers
- Responsible for cash handling procedures including but not limited to preparing and dropping bank deposits
- Performs supervisory and administrative duties
- Authorizes register functions including post voids, returns and associate discounts
- Processes balloon orders
- Performs director on duty (DOD) responsibilities as required
- Handles Personalization Studio orders
- Adheres to all standard operating procedures, policies and Best Methods
- Sets and maintains MPP, plan-o-grams and other merchandise directives
- Delivers exceptional customer service through personal contact with customers
Job Requirements:
- Prior supervisory experience is preferred
- High School Graduate or equivalent,
- Frequent kneeling, bending and stooping,
- Minimum qualifications;
- Lift, push, pull 25 lbs,
- Climb ladders,
- Standing entire shift
