Job Description:

Under the supervision of the General Manager, directs Associate activity to provide efficient high quality customer service and achieve retail sales targets through a well-trained and motivated staff. Adheres to all Party City policies and procedures

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for opening and closing store procedures
  • Assists in merchandising procedures
  • Reviews and understands financial data to support driving profitable sales
  • Reviews and responsible for all corporate communications applicable to their assigned zone
  • Assists in receiving and stocking procedures;
  • Supports new hire training and ongoing development of current associates
  • Responsible for maintaining assigned zone
  • Assists with execution of company data integrity process
  • Interacts with and assists customers
  • Responsible for cash handling procedures including but not limited to preparing and dropping bank deposits
  • Performs supervisory and administrative duties
  • Authorizes register functions including post voids, returns and associate discounts
  • Processes balloon orders
  • Performs director on duty (DOD) responsibilities as required
  • Handles Personalization Studio orders
  • Adheres to all standard operating procedures, policies and Best Methods
  • Sets and maintains MPP, plan-o-grams and other merchandise directives
  • Delivers exceptional customer service through personal contact with customers

Job Requirements:

  • Prior supervisory experience is preferred
  • High School Graduate or equivalent,
  • Frequent kneeling, bending and stooping,
  • Minimum qualifications;
  • Lift, push, pull 25 lbs,
  • Climb ladders,
  • Standing entire shift
