Job Description:

As an IT Service Desk Associate or Specialist, you’ll be a technical resource for Progressive employees and agents. Using your strong knowledge of information systems and your customer service skills, you’ll troubleshoot hardware and software related issues over the phone. You’ll also document problems and resolutions using a ticketing system. Our IT Service Desk gives you the opportunity to learn various applications and systems in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Training starts in May 2021!

Job Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of networking devices, such as switches and routers
  • Ability to stay current with common computer operations concepts and tools for solving technical issues
  • Customer service skills with the ability to remain sensitive and responsive to the customer’s needs
  • Knowledge of information systems and IT operations, such as Windows operating systems components, navigation tools, common hardware and software related concepts
  • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and solve basic technical problems
  • Instead of a degree, two years of related work experience (could include experience in a field providing customer service and assisting end users with hardware and software related problems)
  • Associate degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field (MIS, IS, IT, CNS, Computer Engineering, Windows Networking Administration)
