Progressive Internships – IT Systems Engineer Senior/Lead

Job Description:

As a Systems Engineer Senior/Lead in the Data Security team, you’ll be primarily responsible for continuing to mature and progress our digital certificate management utilizing the Venafi Trust Protection Platform. You will also have exposure opportunities with other services/solutions that support Data and Application Security on-premises and Cloud needs. Security experience is the primary skill focus, but development/DevOps skills are a plus. Seeking a motivated individual willing to hit the ground running.

Job Requirements:

• Associate’s degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline, Math, or other related field of study and a minimum of four years of experience working with operating system hardware and/or software components in a large IT environment with many categories of devices, infrastructures and operating systems
• Experience with SSL/TLS certificates and various implementations/installations (Server – Windows/Linux, F5 LTM, Cloud – AWS/Azure, OpenShift).
• Instead of a degree, a minimum of six years of related experience listed in above bullet
• Proven experience with Certificate Management using Venafi Trust Protection Platform or similar Certificate Management platform. Experience with AD Microsoft Certificate Services.
• Experience managing rest APIs and using various tools such as Postman, PowerShell, Puppet & Python (used for testing purposes) is a plus.
