Job Description

As a digital front-end developer for Progressive’s Commercial Lines organization, you’ll maintain Progressive’s business insurance marketing website, www.progressivecommercial.com. As part of a growing team of front-end development and marketing specialists, you’ll have the opportunity to enhance your coding skills while supporting Progressive’s online authority and performance in the commercial insurance space. Your primary responsibilities will include enhancements to existing pages for internal and external user groups. In addition, you’ll be encouraged to create new solutions for more complex UX challenges as they arise.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to solve real-world business problems with technology as an enabler.
• Associate’s degree or higher in an Information Technology or related field of study
• High learning agility and the ability to gain a broad understanding of system functionality.
• In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year of front-end development or related work experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of the insurance business at a basic level.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written as well as listening.
• In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED and completion of a technical training program
• Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite.
