Job Description:

The position serves a critical role in performing operational, and analytical support to the Employee Relations and labor law compliance functions. This position is responsible for leading support related to investigations, labor law audits, discipline, processes, grievances, information requests, and general management guidance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Guide, train, and direct business partners on the execution of HR policies and processes to ensure, appropriate legal (EEO, ADA, FMLA, etc.) and organizational compliance
  • Direct and conduct employee relations investigations
  • Lead the Company’s compliance initiatives, in partnership with field leadership
  • Performs other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required, assigned, or directed
  • Provide appropriate recommendations for corrective action and performance management in alignment with Company policies, practices, and culture
  • Perform administrative duties relating to compliance audits, including compiling data, conducting analysis, and formulating conclusions based on findings
  • Participate in activities relating to background checks, unemployment claims, and employee exit interviews
  • Monitor federal, state, and local labor laws, and update procedures and policies accordingly

Job Requirements:

  • Prior experience within a multi-unit, multi-state retail or food services environment
  • 2+ years of previous generalist or specialist experience preferred
  • Ability to work in an office environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience
  • PHR/SPHR preferred
