Job Description:

The Assistant Manager of Media will assist the Manager of Media by helping manage a wide range of media and sponsorship initiatives. This person will be a direct point of contact for the Restaurant Marketing team and liaise with our network of agency partners. This will include analyzing data, building spreadsheets, developing presentations, completing media and sponsorship evaluations, coordination of reporting information, budget and invoice reconciliation as well as being involved in the planning process from strategy development to performance evaluations with collaboration from both internal teams and agency partners.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage internal status spreadsheet including coordination of updates from agency partners and internal teams
  • Manage sponsorship asset, budget and renewal timing spreadsheets
  • Manage monthly invoice and reconciliation process along with analysis of planned vs. purchased budgets for media buys and sponsorships
  • Work with agency partners to ensure timely execution of performance recaps and post buys
  • Review, identify and analyze opportunities to support focus markets and restaurants
  • Evaluate sponsorship opportunities and provide recommendation analysis
  • Keep up-to-date on media trends and explore, analyze and provide recap with evaluation on viable options for our brand and/or work with agency partners, if applicable
  • Develop presentations and support materials for meetings and training
  • Responsible for helping manage incremental media requests, including new restaurant openings, with agency partners and internal teams from initial request to invoice reconciliation
  • Help derive key insights and takeaways from media landscape analysis, media performance recaps and post buys to be applied to future strategy and plan recommendations
  • Collaborate on media strategy development and plan recommendations

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to build strong relationships with media partners and internal Crewmembers
  • Customer satisfaction oriented
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Exceptional attention to detail and very organized
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field required
  • Highly motivated and able to work well in both collaborative and independent work environments
  • Self-starter, able to self-manage priorities and multi-task oriented
  • Fundamental understanding of various media tools such as Nielsen research, ComScore, Simmons, Competitrack
  • Proactive, problem solver with strong analytical skills
  • Three + years of advertising agency or client-side media planning experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
