Job Description:
Manager, Learning Management System is primarily responsible for optimizing our digital learning environment and integrations between our systems and external content sources. The Manager also ensures quality of internal/external learning content and builds relevant analytics to support broader adoption to blended learning approaches.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop set of regular metrics to support analysis, measurement of content effectiveness, and return on investment
- Demonstrate significant expertise with relevant learning management platforms and content technology
- Manage direct relationships with learning technology vendors and content providers; ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs)
- Oversee and administer the LMS functions including creation/maintenance of catalogs and curricula, and creating/modifying/maintaining course components
- Provide regular technical support to users, including franchise administrators, and leverage support information to improve the LMS and production content
- Implement dashboards and maintain all learning records to ensure consistency and quality of all data from learning systems
- Explore, recommend, curate, and implement creative approaches to program design to broaden and enrich the LMS experience for all LOBs
- Direct the configuration, support, and periodic upgrades of all learning technology platforms
ensure materials are updated and relevant - Develop systems to ensure regular quality checks for learning technology; react quickly and efficiently to customer feedback/requests
Produce and maintain system documentation
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrate effective communication with all levels of the organization; ability to work as a team and independently
- Executes work with minimal guidance; able to lead execution of pilots and innovative projects
- Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
- Significant expertise in SCORM, AICC, xAPI
- 5-8 years’ experience with learning technology (LXPs, eLearning software, video content system, external content, virtual meeting platforms, learning analytical systems)
- BA/BS or equivalent, with strong academic credentials in related field
- Must be highly organized and detail oriented
