Job Description: Communication is key! You’ll be working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers so we need you to be able to communicate at all levels. This is a diverse role and that means a fast pace with lots of deadlines so need to thrive in this sort of environment. You’ll be dealing with lots of data on a daily basis so we need you to be competent in Excel. That means you already know how to format information clearly and can work with formulas. You'll be a curious self-starter who isn't afraid to challenge the norm. You will support the DSV (Drop Ship Vendor) Account Manager in the running of the DSV proposition, and the development and execution of activity to achieve sales and margin targets. Job Responsibilities: Load new products into the system as new vendors and or products are engaged and signed off/delete products where discontinued Attend project and internal meetings, providing support to the project process as required and act as the key point of contact for all queries relating to your project Review online competitor activity, in relation to product offering, pricing and promotional activity Liaise and work with various stakeholders including Trading Team, Supply Chain, Content Management, Web Team and Suppliers Acts as the initial contact for DSV customer/operational issues – resolve/escalate to key stakeholders as per agreed SLA/matrix process Update trackers, monitor and review with key stakeholders on a weekly basis to ensure all key activity is progressed on time, meeting critical deadlines. Escalate key concerns to DSV Account Managers Support the DSV Account Manager with growing the range proposition and promotional activities. Be aware of commercial planning schedules and ensure all deadlines are planned for and met. This will include completing nomination templates, and supporting with product proofing, imagery and re-pricing activity Job Requirements: Previous commercial experience in a retail environment Strong commercial awareness, with a creative eye for product and trends Previous work experience within a Buying Head Office desirable Experience working within a face-paced, deadline driven environment Accurate and numerate, with attention to detail to be able to challenge and spot errors Able to communicate effectively at all levels A working knowledge of Microsoft Office and skilled with Microsoft Excel Systems orientated with an experience of data centres an advantage Analytical; able to produce, interpret and draw conclusions from data Job Details: Company: Screwfix Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Yeovil, England, United Kingdom Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here vacancyoptions.com
