Subway Apply – Senior Manager

Job Description:

The Senior Manager, Delivery, is responsible for the growth and management of Subway’s North American delivery program. Partnering closely with the Senior Director, Off-Premises Innovation, the Senior Manager of Delivery will develop the 3rd party and direct delivery business strategy inclusive of driving sales, product and menu optimizations, marketing, in-restaurant operations, and technology solutions. Prioritizing a best-in-class guest experience coupled with sales optimization, this individual will closely partner with key cross-functional teams to achieve sales and marketing objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage annual budget and timelines to support plan
• Quarterly reporting to leadership on status of sales goal achievement, key initiatives, and any proposed adjustments to plan or budget
• Project fee negotiations
• Maintain current knowledge of competitor offerings, programs, industry best practices, and guest expectations
• In partnership with Sr. Director, Digital Innovation, maintain business ownership of Subway app and website delivery customer experience
• A key strategic initiative over the next several years is the growth of direct and 3rd party delivery as a critical off-premises offering for Subway guests. This role will be responsible for driving the many projects and initiatives to achieve that objective.
• Partnering with Contracts Team to develop new service agreements and/or updates or amendments to existing agreements, as required
• Work closely with Off-Premises Technology team partners to develop menu optimizations and offers on each platform
• Close partnership with Marketing team members to develop on-platform marketing plans, programs and promotions/offers
• Assemble and lead cross-functional teams for key projects and ongoing program
  optimizations

Job Requirements:

• Always operate with a sense of urgency
• Have current, working knowledge of the foodservice industry
• Have experience managing a brand within a marketplace, aggregator or 3rd party delivery environment
• Have a relentless drive to improve
• Have a high comfort level navigating emerging channels both within and outside of the delivery space to identify how they can benefit the Subway system
• Have 8+ years of overall experience
• Be excited about innovation
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
