Subway Hiring – Sr Director, Marketing Analytics

Job Description:

The Sr. Director Marketing Analytics will be responsible for supporting our national marketing strategies by providing best-in-class analytics and insight. The position holder will manage a team of top professionals analyzing sales, profit, product mix, media and consumer insights data across differing business channels and customer segments. This role will work heavily with Marketing leadership, Operations and Executive Management. Further, the Senior Director will also have significant interaction with franchise advisory boards and directly with franchisees relating to national, market and restaurant performance. Key position requirements include strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and presentation skills. Strength in financial analysis and a strong knowledge of the QSR industry a must.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage with senior marketing leadership to drive key strategies and tactics. This includes strategies for promotions, menu architecture, value and pricing, menu boards and merchandising, media, etc.
  • Assess all promotional activity including the impact to overall sales and profitability, product mix, and differing customer segments and operating environments. This will include the development of all necessary financial models to evaluate promotion performance.
  • Lead and develop a team of professionals with the goal of achieving a best-in-class insights and analytics organization.
  • Lead all test and learn capabilities for the organization collaborating with senior leadership, key functional teams, operator councils, and franchisees across the system.
  • Create a suite of regular marketing reports leveraging topline data, customer data, product mix and pricing data to inform on the progress of marketing strategies.
  • Integrate customer insights and behavioral data into holistic marketing strategies.
  • Research and leverage competitor intelligence to inform business and marketing strategies

Job Requirements:

  • Significant experience in QSR marketing analytics required.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required. MBA/MS business, statistics, accounting, finance, or economics strongly preferred.
  • Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
  • Highly skilled at translating complex quantitative data to diverse audiences.
  • 10+ years of marketing analytics experience in a highly data-driven, analytical environment.
  • Highly fluent in the use of different media in the development of marketing strategy
