Job Description:

TD Securities’ Financial Sponsors Group (FSG) provides dedicated coverage to a broad range of North American and Global private equity, infrastructure, pension and sovereign wealth funds. We focus on developing and maintaining financial sponsor relationships through a continuous flow of proprietary ideas and financing solutions. FSG partners with various industry and product groups from across the firm to provide best-in-class, comprehensive advisory and execution solutions to our clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare external client proposals and internal underwriting memos
• Apply financial modelling and valuation tools to asses privatization / recapitalization opportunities
• Work closely with senior team members to provide analytical & coverage support and aid with idea generation
• Prepare and contribute to the delivery of process marketing materials and transaction specific deliverables
• Research / analyze companies’ financial situations, industry & market data and M&A opportunities
• Attend internal and client calls / meetings to help coordinate new mandate workflow

Job Requirements:

• Graduating in spring / summer 2022 with an undergraduate degree
• Intellectual curiosity and a keen interest in investment banking and private equity
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with regular client-driven deadlines
• Strong academic track record, work ethic, financial / analytical skills, and excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership (i.e. sports, clubs, extracurricular activities and philanthropy, etc.)
