Job Description:

Texas Instruments (TI) is searching for a trustworthy, organized, and detail-oriented person with excellent follow-through skills who is able to maintain confidentiality, have fun and be highly effective in a team environment. This position will provide direct support to a Vice President at Texas Instruments. The ideal candidate will be an effective problem solver, demonstrate good judgment, be a good collaborator and team player, have strong verbal and written skills and be able to communicate with all levels of management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Preparing documents & presentations in support of the business
  • Initiating and maintaining contacts of a complex nature, both inside and outside of company, demonstrating a professional demeanor in interfacing with senior-level executives, employees, customers and vendors
  • Researching and compiling special reports
  • Order recognition awards for organization
  • Proactively prioritizing projects, meetings & schedules to meet business/leader needs
  • Working with team to plan worldwide meetings and employee celebrations. Assisting the team with preparations & execution of critical business meetings.
  • Build and maintain organizational charts for the worldwide organization
  • Maintaining organization’s SharePoint sites
  • Providing team support on office supplies, phones and setup for new employees
  • Maintain space (offices and cubicles)
  • Setting up and maintaining employee mailing lists and mail folders
  • Arranging domestic and complex international travel for organization

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Expertise using productivity software tools in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel), SharePoint and SAP
  • Strong balance of ability to work independently and take initiative to drive for results with close alignment on business leader expectations
  • HS diploma
  • Associate’s degree
  • Ability to effectively solve problems and make appropriate decisions
  • 1+ years of experience
