Job Description:

We are currently looking for a highly motivated HR Assistant to work in our Bloomfield Distribution Center. This team member will be part of a dynamic and fast paced HR Department where our culture sets us apart. Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle the clerical/administration function within the HR department
  • Maintain high degree of integrity and confidentiality
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • This is an onsite position
  • Oversee petty cash and the distribution of checks
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date new hire documents, files, records, and documentation
  • Daily review of Associate timekeeping and coding of hours
  • Modify and correct timecard as necessary and create payroll adjustments
  • Update and maintain the HRIS to include electronic personnel files, profiles, and personnel change status
  • Respond to associate inquiries regarding payroll and / or benefits

Job Requirements:

  • Strong PC skills a must (MS Office – Word and Excel)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle complex situations with professionalism
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in rapidly changing environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience with Payroll in an HR Department preferred
  • Prior Kronos and Oracle experience a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills, written and verbal communication
  • 1-2 years of high-volume customer service or office-related work experience
  • Demonstrated ability to perform mathematic functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
