Job Description:

The Director of Culinary Innovation is responsible for the strategic design and direction of Culinary offerings for our 65+ venues and multi-concepts in the US.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Strategizes the time & effort necessary to implement new menu items/LTOs and provide regular feedback to Senior Leadership, Marketing, & Procurement.Develops seasonal LTOs that are aligned to industry and guest trends to continue to drive traffic and positive perceptions of Topgolf as a F&B destination
  • Studies market trends, strategies and operations of other successful restaurant concepts to create and maintain a competitive Culinary strategy.
  • Attends conferences and networks with industry professionals to stay abreast of culinary, consumer and restaurant trends, new processes, food products and applications to apply to Topgolf where applicable
  • Designs, executes, and tests new menu offerings that fit the brand concept to keep the menu fresh and exciting for our Guest Leads the internal food R&D committee responsible for menu-related decisions including, but not limited to, menu items, names, pricing, flavor profile and presentation. This applies to National, Flex, Lounge, and Event menus
  • Find improvements and efficiencies on existing menu items and current products working directly with National Director of Culinary and Supply Chain Work directly with National Director of Culinary and Director of Facilities to find kitchen and equipment efficiencies

Job Requirements:

  • Project management
  • Menu engineering
  • Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts Preferred
  • High level collaborative mindset
  • 5+ years Progressive strategic design / content creation / programmatic leadership experience in F&B within the hospitality industry
  • Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally, specifically with the Culinary execution teams
  • Ability to cost and articulate recipe procedures
  • 10+ years Experience as a senior leader in a recognized Culinary program for a multi-venue organization with the ability to design and prepare culinary dishes
  • Thorough knowledge on food safety and health procedures
  • Advanced statistical analysis and problem solving
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management
