Job Description:

Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Indiana (TMMI) is located in Princeton, Indiana approximately 25 miles north of Evansville, Indiana in southwestern Indiana. It is located near the Ohio River, within a three hour drive of Indianapolis, St. Louis, Nashville, and Louisville. TMMI produces the Toyota Highlander, Sequoia and Sienna. TMMI has been producing vehicles since 1998 and the total facility size is 4 million square feet. Our manufacturing operations include Stamping, Body Weld, Assembly, Paint and Plastics. Non-manufacturing areas include Accounting & Finance, Safety, Purchasing, Human Resources, Quality and Manufacturing Planning.

Job Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot tooling and/or stamping process issues
• Perform mold and/or die repairs and engineering changes that include welding and hand finishing.
• Working in a diverse team towards a common goal
• Adjusting to the changing needs of a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Problem solving and continuously improving safety, quality and productivity
• Perform basic administrative duties including computer data entry and parts ordering
• Use of mobile equipmennt (crane, fork truck, and tugger)
• Troubleshoot Processing issues
• Make replacement components for both tooling and production equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance on thermoplastic injection molds, Slush and monofoam tooling, and/or automotive stamping dies

Job Requirements:

• Microsoft office literate
• Injection molding processing experience
• Proficient in hand working complex three dimensional surfaces
• Understanding of Thermoplastic Injection molding and/or progressive stamping process
• Ability to work any shift
• Eligible candidates will participate in an assessment process
• 5 year Mold and/or die repair or Mold making experience
• TIG welding experience
• Ability to read blue prints
• Arc welding experience
• Experience with standard machining tools
