Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and lead the weekly Cost Obeya review meetings with TMNA and NAMC logistics leaders to ensure gap analysis and kaizen achievement reporting.
- Utilization of TMNA logistics systems and tools to ensure accurate and timely budget planning and development.
- Coordinate / collaborate with all North American production plants on the development of the FY freight logistics budget. Includes coordination with Purchasing, Logistics Planning, Accounting and Finance sections of TMNA, TMC and NAMC’s.
- Develop and manage freight logistics cost Kaizen targets and achievement with the NAMC, TMNA logistics planning team, and TMC.
- Develop and sustain positive relationships with both internal and external Customers in order to manage the production parts budget to ensure smooth reporting of the cost conditions while delivering a high level of service.
- Achieve and ensure milestones with quality, to ensure proper communication and coordination of production parts budgeting and kaizen throughout the supply chain.
- Manage all freight logistics cost key performance indicator creation / development / improvement.
- Manage yearly / quarterly / monthly reporting of the budget results with senior management.
- Foster personal growth and development to meet current and future business needs. Heavy focus on Problem Solving, JKK, analytical skills and developing deep knowledge of project management.
Job Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels up to senior leadership
- Strong analytical skills to research, understand, and improve budget planning and reporting process
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
- Daily use of Practical Problem Solving
- Bachelor’s degree in a major which requires critical thinking and quantitative analysis or equivalent experience
- Experience in data acquisition and analysis for budget creation / development
