Job Description:

Toyota’s Production Engineering Paint Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated SE Senior Engineer
The primary responsibility of this role is to confirm product designs to meet manufacturing criteria for safety, quality, productivity and cost.
Reporting to the SE Manager, the person in this role will support the Paint’s department’s objective to confirm new models designs for mass production.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in Benchmarking and Innovation to improve Toyota competitiveness for new models
• Communicating with several PE and external groups to ensure safety, quality, productivity and cost of designs
• Creating Presentations and Reports to communicate project status and KPI’s
• Comparing Design data to SE Standards and Toyota Manufacturing Principles for Paint

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering Discipline or Equivalent Toyota Experience
• Experience in Paint Production Engineering Department in Engineering or Seibi Roles
• Proficient in Catia and Microsoft Office Software
• Basic Japanese Language Skills
• Regional or Seibi paint experience working on new model introductions
• Japan Travel for the purpose of leading design related meetings
