Job Description: U-Box Shipping is seeking career-minded, growth-oriented individuals to make a real impact on our daily operations as a Shipping Operations Representative. Under the direction of the Shipping Operations Manager, this position manages the full process of tracking and tracing customer shipments being hauled by our transportation companies. This representative will work with both our field personnel and our transportation companies to ensure our U-Boxes are being transported effectively and efficiently. Job Responsibilities: Answering all incoming calls. Updating all necessary systems as needed: U-Haul Systems as well as a TMS (Transportation Management System) Interacting with field personnel via phone and email. Managing each assigned carrier account’s shipments from pickup to delivery Requesting and scheduling pickup and delivery appointments for our transportation companies. Interacting with transportation companies via phone and email.
