Job Description: Wells Fargo is seeking a Mortgage Bank Branch Manager (SAFE) in Consumer Lending as part of Home Lending. Job Responsibilities: Manage overall loan origination activities through the management of branch pipeline by adhering to workflow process and using internal tools and reporting to ensure origination, processing, underwriting and closing timelines are in line with communications and commitments to customers Inform and assist prospective and existing customers with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage programs, rates, policies, underwriting requirements, and loan procedures Understand policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Analyze detailed financial and credit data, matching customer needs with an appropriate loan program and level of risk Develop and maintain a high degree of visibility for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in the marketplace Continually expand knowledge of company products, policies and procedures, and underwriting requirements Understand federal and state home lending regulations and provide guidance and direction to branch teams to ensure compliance Perform miscellaneous duties as required Manage sales activities to ensure high level of customer service, timely completion, quality, and compliance in mortgage retail sales Build and develop a high performing team through selecting, evaluating, coaching, directing and managing the sales activities of Mortgage Bank Sales Consultants Lead a team of Mortgage Bank Sales Consultants who are officed in physical branch locations. This team is primarily focused on serving Wells Fargo enterprise customers Collaborate and consult with bank leaders, peers and colleagues to continually serve existing Wells Fargo customers with their mortgage lending needs Manage customer loyalty performance levels to include; ensuring timely and proactive customer communication, regular customer contact and/or inspection calls to customer, providing team with escalation and remediation process support Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development in less complex functional areas Job Requirements: Strong credit analysis skills Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of commercial or specialty group: lending, loan servicing, products, and credit practices Experience consistently delivering strong sales performance Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of negotiating: interest rates, price, terms, and collateral requirements Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of risk management Strong organizational, multi tasking, and prioritizing skills Established networks and contacts for Inland Empire and Orange County markets 7+ years of Commercial Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Account relationship management experience Job Details: Company: Wells Fargo Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Irvine, CA, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here vacancyoptions.com
