Job Responsibilities: Manage overall branch loan origination activities through the management of branch pipeline by adhering to workflow process and using internal tools and reporting to ensure origination, processing, underwriting, and closing timelines are in line with communications and commitments to customers Engage stakeholders and internal partners associated with the Mortgage Retail Sales functional area Understand real estate appraisals, title reports, and real estate transactions Inform prospective and existing customers of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage (WFHM) programs, rates, policies, underwriting requirements, and loan procedures Interpret and develop policies and procedures for functional areas with low to moderate complexity within scope of responsibility Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and multiple level managers as well as interact directly with external customers Recruit, develop, and manage a sales team that generates quality loans compliant with company policies, procedures, and pricing strategies Make decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives, and operations of Mortgage Banker team to meet business objectives Analyze detailed financial and credit data, matching customer needs with an appropriate loan program and level of risk Develop and maintain a high degree of visibility and credibility for WFHM in the marketplace Coach, direct, and manage the sales activities of a branch of Mortgage Bankers (a minimum of 12 direct reports) and the activities of branch support team members Manage customer loyalty/ disloyalty performance levels to include; ensuring timely and proactive customer communication, regular customer contact and/or inspection calls to customer, providing team with escalation and remediation process support Develop knowledge of company products, policies and procedures, and underwriting requirements Develop understanding of federal and state home lending regulations, provide guidance and direction to branch team to ensure compliance, and manage non-delivery fees, penalties, or fines Job Requirements: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Mortgage industry experience Working knowledge of compliance, policy and federal regulations Basic Microsoft Office skills 4+ years of Mortgage Retail Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 2+ years of Leadership experience A BS/BA degree or higher 1+ year of experience in recruiting individuals or team Knowledge and understanding of sales prospecting and generating referrals Knowledge and understanding of sales prospecting and generating referral Bilingual speaking proficiency in Spanish/English Job Details: Company: Wells Fargo Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Anchorage, AK, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here vacancyoptions.com
