Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Director, who will lead the Solutions Consultants team supporting HCI activities across Europe. The Solutions Consultant team consists of highly skilled engineering consultants with many years of experience in advanced applications supporting customers spread over the European region.

The ideal candidate will have a combination of business management acumen, experience in product management, the technical depth to understand the engineering and product development process and the entrepreneurial mindset that enables him/her to build a business case for how the company or specific business unit should take advantage of a market opportunity.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Solutions Consulting team in EUROPE
  • Ensure the team will partner with the business owners and sales to develop a strong pipeline of Consulting led sales engagements
  • Lead the consultative selling approach for outcome based digital programs (diagnostic, value proposition)
  • Identify/ create innovative opportunities (e.g., new go to market approaches, value propositions)
  • Develop and maintain leading edge expertise in HCI and Digital Transformation offerings (Connected Asset, People, Process)
  • Acts as the nodal person that provides technical solution for HCI pursuits in the pole
  • Groom a strong team of future HCI connected leaders for the organization
  • Meet and exceed order AOP
  • Ensure that the pipeline will convert into orders – in partnership with the sales organization
  • Develop business cases for the sales teams across the HCI portfolio
  • Understands customer needs and architects Honeywell solution/offering to meet customer needs
  • Consolidate pole experience in strategic engagements (value delivered, lessons learnt, customer segmentation, etc.) 2. Influence future HCI offering development
  • Identify and suggest future offerings required to evolve our value propositions, connect with connected product owners
  • Suggest new contractual models & go-to-market to drive growth
  • Support marketing in defining critical messages for the market in driving operational excellence through HCI offering 3. Develop a talent engine for Honeywell Connected Industrials

Job Requirements:

  • Able to work effectively in a matrix environment; demonstrated experience working with teams in Sales, Business, engineering, R&D, marketing, finance, sales, etc., using creative approaches to problem solving
  • Demonstrated leadership experience setting the vision and building, leading and motivating a team of highly experienced Consultants.
  • Experience in interacting with customers and acting as an evangelist for the product vision among core customers and internal business units.
  • Extensive l experience working with large enterprise environments known for innovation, diversified solutions/products and being obsessed with end-user value.
  • High intellectual horsepower and strong technical knowledge of the product management lifecycle. Deep understanding and perspective on emergent technologies and how they shape and inform next generation products.
