Job Responsibilities:
- Live on air reporting for our news bulletins
- Transmit news stories and photographs back to Tel Aviv.
- Stay on top of American-Israeli relations
- Travel to places where events are unfolding.
- Describe background and details of events.
- Write, edit, and revise your own script for VTRs.
- Gather information for news or human interest stories.
- Conduct interviews.
- Meet with government officials and conduct interviews.
- Be i24news’ local eyes and ears for all things US related
- Take photographs.
- Convert information into short news clips edited for broadcasting.
- Utilize a number of sources to gain different perspectives and facts.
- Specialize in covering the news in a certain field such as science, politics, antisemitism and crimes .
Job Requirements:
- French – speaking, reading and writing at a very high level – a must
- 2+ years in television journalism
- On-air experience
- Able to edit your own VTR reports
