dnata Catering US is looking for a dynamic, experienced Information Technology Manager to be part of our team. This ideal candidate will interact daily within a cross-functional IT/Business team to coordinate, problem solve, implement, and deliver projects to budget and on schedule. S/he will have a strong technical infrastructure background with a proven track record of successful IT projects. S/he must have strong interpersonal skills, experience working with business change, training managers, and vendors to ensure successful end-to-end delivery.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage any variation which might arise outside the agreed existing scope and work, with relevant management and team members to resolve these issues as they arise.
  • Implement IT security policies and standards in compliance with Emirates Group standards.
  • Communicate relevant IT policies/standards to vendor(s)for implementation across IT systems and applications.
  • Work with IT vendors to provide services as required – including negotiation of contracts (in alignment with procurement) and performance measurement against SLAs.
  • Obtain visibility of incidents to monitor SLAs (including service credits).
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to develop and implement project management plans to ensure the success of projects.
  • Communicate regularly with key senior stakeholders to ensure the identification and tracking of plan objectives.
  • Include IT security awareness aspects in the corporate induction program. In this context, coordinate with EGIT Cybersecurity to leverage relevant training material.
  • Work closely with the corporate team to leverage matters such as enterprise licenses, procurement, and legal services, corporate systems, and safety.
  • Document and maintain the network diagram depicting segregation of networks, entry/exit points, firewall, router, access points, and servers deployed within the network zone.
  • Maintain up-to-date IT asset register with key details such as asset type, issuance date, owner, location, etc., and recover assets when an employee leaves the organization.
  • Ensure all US business units are technically set up as strategically as possible to embrace the relevant Corporate IT initiative including cyber & network security, end-user device security, access management, data storage, network management, etc.
  • Identify key risks and ensure appropriate mitigation plans are established and maintained.

Job Requirements:

  • Extensive experience within business platform applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Speaks clearly and persuasively in all situations, listens, gets clarification, and responds well to questions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven work experience as a hands-on Project Manager in the IT industry delivering large-scale, mission-critical projects, ideally from a software vendor perspective.
  • Working knowledge of ERP Systems such as SAP, Oracle, QAD, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Advanced documentation skills, ability to document processes, requirements, problem statements, and formal PMO documents.
  • Proven delivery of technical and change projects.
  • Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Computer Science, Engineering, related field, and/or equivalent work experience. Preferred Education: Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • ERP Certification (such as Oracle or SAP) with system implementation experience is a plus.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and plan project activities for short- and long-term business goals.
  • Having had direct responsibility for time plans, cost control, project reporting, and change management.
