Job Description:

This role will be responsible for the design, creation, integration, support and maintenance of various plant-wide production control and manufacturing support systems.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with project development, budget planning and execution
  • Provide emergency engineering response to manufacturing problems
  • Provide maintenance and support thru monitoring performance and troubleshooting
  • Provide production support after modifications or installations
  • Recommend improved systems reliability based on experience and findings
  • Support the specification, design, implementation, installation, integration and maintenance of new and existing systems. Create and update documentation of new and existing systems
  • Provide system problem solving to ensure continuous reliability and up-time improvement, accuracy, ease of use enhancements, and analysis of trends and symptoms
  • Coordinate with suppliers to discover new technologies for better ways to implement manufacturing methods and produce quality products; request and analyze quotes from suppliers for new and existing projects and system changes

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent written and oral communications, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Understanding of Agile based methodologies
  • Ability to interface with customers and communicate to gather requirements for system improvements
  • Knowledge of object oriented computer programming languages and software engineering best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations
  • Eager to learn within and enjoy a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering
  • Customer service orientation
  • Ability to develop conceptual level designs and implement within a team environment
  • 2-4 years of technology related experience at a professional level, automotive experience a plus and entry level also considered
